"Our Eid in Taiz: Grandmothers' Chants and Tales" Festival Celebrates Oral Heritage

On 11 June 2025, Arniyada celebrated the "Our Eid in Taiz: Grandmothers' Chants and Tales" festival, a popular event aimed at restoring the role of women in preserving oral heritage.

The festival included an exhibition on the history of women's song, heritage games, grandmothers' tales for children, and traditional food, along with recorded interventions from diaspora women artists about Yemeni lullabies and their impact on shaping consciousness.
